He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.”

We had him play acoustically for before our ceremony, during our ceremony, and at the cocktail hour. He even learned a song especially for the wedding party processional that we requested. He is so talented! He also wrote an original song for us to dance to at the wedding. Definitely a must! My fiancé hadn't heard it before the wedding so it made for a very special moment. JJ was great at reading the crowd on the dance floor during the reception. I had so many compliments about the music and how full the dance floor was all night long. “I did a lot of research to find a wedding photographer. I do a lot of research for everything, but I felt like it was especially important because if I’m paying so much for a wedding, I want all of the details chronicled beautifully so those memories can last forever. It was really important for me that the pictures looked super natural and not overly editted as if I was right back in the moment when I looked at them. Ivory Grove let me look at several of their photographers’ portfolios since I was worried they might have different styles. They were all very similar and beautiful, but I did like Erika’s the most and they set me up with her. Erika took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She got every angle of every moment, and a lot of my guests mentioned how impressed they were that she was getting on the ground for some shots, setting up lighting, and orchestrating everyone to make sure I got all the photos I requested. Ivory Grove finished editing the photos she took in only 2 weeks, and the album they sent has sooo many photos in it. I should have known because I got a lot of engagement photos back as well, but I was just blown away by the amount of gorgeous photos they gave me. It’s also so easy for me to download them onto my phone or computer. The investment was well worth it, but also they were more affordable than a lot of other photographers I’d looked into! After letting him know our top priority was making it a party and ensuring our guests had fun, he kept the dance floor packed all reception. Our booking coordinator, Wes Echols, was also great to communicate with. He always had very quick responses, provided us with a comprehensive and thoughtful questionnaire for the ceremony and reception, and was overall very helpful. “My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!”
